Little Gems accepts referrals directly from parents/caregivers of children between the ages of 12 months to 10 years.

         

Following parental/caregiver consent, referrals are also accepted from: teachers/ learning support staff, general practitioners, paediatricians, child health nurses etc.

When making a referral, Gemma will require the following information:

​            Child's:                          

                                 * name

                                 * date of birth

                                 * name of childcare centre, kindergarten, or school (if applicable)

                                 * current level of schooling (if at school)

                                 * parent/caregiver name/s

                                 * current concerns in regards to communication
